Big Girl Haircut.

So I got my hair chopped today.  Completely chopped.  Like.. 8 or 9 inches chopped.  I showed the hair-cutter lady a picture of what I wanted.  I mean, homegirl's hair in the picture was a considerable amount shorter than my hair was... but hair-cutter lady most definitely chopped off 2 inches more than what the picture looked like.  Maybe I shouldn't have gone to Wal-Mart in pursuit of new hair.  I mean, my hair was long.  Too long.  Probably because I hadn't cut it since October... October of last year.  Wanna see pictures of how long my hair was until today at approximately 2:30pm??  Okay!  If you insist!

I hate hate hate this picture of me but love love love the people I'm with.  This was taken 1.5 weeks ago at the Opry Mills.   Yes, mall in Nashville during the holidays.  AKA dumb idea.  And quite frankly, my hair is lookin nappy.  But hair=long.  Point taken.

IT'S ALL GONE!  I think I like it though.  Definitely looks better straight when it's short.  We can forget me having curly hair again for several months.  I mean, I could wear it curly... if I wanna look like a Grandma.  Naaah.

No, I didn't pose for this picture.  Obviously-- because I look like a total goof.  I got a phone call while I was taking a picture to put on here.  But it makes me happy.   I'm was on the phone with one of my favorite people in world.  :)

So, there you have it!  LB, Katie, and I all got our hair cut short this week.  We call it a big girl hair cut.  No more being lazy and throwing it in a ponytail.  Short hair is for those who take time in the mornings to get ready... you know.  Professionals.  Psssh.  Who am I kidding?  I'm far from being a big girl.  Maybe my new sassy cut will get me an awesome job?  We can only hope.

P.S.  Hair-cutter lady's name is Peggy.  And she cussed a lot.  And she was crazy.  Thanks, Peggster, for  an entertaining afternoon... and for my big girl haircut.
